Gasoline Queen - Gas for the Underclass
Gasoline Queen was formed in 2004. Of course the band hails from Sweden since 90 percent of bands grounded in the 80 Hard Rock scene come from Sweden.

The purpose of a 4-track EP is to gain some interest in the band. "Gas for the Underclass" succeeds and get me appetite for more.

Gasoline Queen has a lot going for them; Singer Dee Fearless has a great tone and the twin guitars sound great as well. The band is also pretty good songwriter where Young man Burnin' and Broke, Cursed and Damned stand out.

Young Man Burnin' is driven by great guitars and a great "in your face" attitude. Broke, Cursed and Damned is a ballad with a catchy guitar riff, which stands as leitmotif of the song.

A good healthy dose of kick ass Hard Rock inspired by the 80's but certainly also with Gasoline Queen's own touch. Gasoline Queen claims that their biggest strength is the live performance, so if they are playing nearby make sure to check them out.

One to watch!
