Quick Review

This last part of the trilogy has a great weight and brings it all together in a fascinating way.

I've read a lot of critique about the multiple endings, but I don't see it. The ending feels perfect to me. The army of the dead could have been better realized, and I never liked CGI Legolas, but these are small issues in an otherwise immense achievement.

Watching the trilogy 15 years after its release, it is clear that it stands the test of time and truly is an epic milestone.
