Quick Review

Two sisters, one discovers true love and the other falls in love for the first time. Unfortunately it is with the same guy. This movie is special as it handles its material with a real human edge and doesn't jump to any easy conclusions. This is one of my favorite coming of age movies. Reese Witherspoon is wonderful here but Sam Waterston's performance as the caring father gives the movie its real emotional weight.

An absolutely wonderful movie in every way with great performances all around.
