Quick Review

"I know my rights. You owe me phone calls.

What should be of paramount importance to you right now is not the phone calls, it's the fact that you're gonna spend ten years for impersonating a federal agent.

10 years for impersonating a fed, uh?

10 years.

How comes no one's after you?"

This ranks as one of the funniest action movies ever. Robert De Niro shows new sides of his talents and is perfect as the bounty hunter with supressed feelings, who just wants to make things right and get the accountant who has embezzled the mob and jumped bail, back to L.A. by midnight. Charles Grodin is absolutely brilliant as well and the way these two bond is a joy to watch. Again and again and again.

There's real chemistry between Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin and a lot of laughs are gained by their well timed expressions. There is a lot of heart in the movie and it just works on all levels.
