Bootleg

This is an audience recording of an acoustic show by the two main songwriters of Enuff Z’nuff, Donnie Vie and Chip Z’nuff. The location is unknown and my best guess is that the show was recorded in 1993. What is certain is that this is an excellent show with Donnie in great shape. The sound is pretty good in spite of being taped in the audience some way from the stage, it just adds to the atmosphere.

Some of my favorite moments include Catholic Girls, which contains some funny ad-libs by Donnie, For Now, the unreleased King of Nothing and Blue Island, which is just a fantastic song to hear in an acoustic version.

The Beatles covers are always a joy to listen to and they are executed with a certain flair I haven’t found anywhere else.

The last song on the album, Innocence, is a recording from the Goodmorning Chicago TV Show, which I also have on video in a better quality. Eventually I will get it posted here.

Download the show here and enjoy.
